FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBER
NAMED BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR
The Luis Miramontes Memorial Foundation offers its congratulations to board member Les Melburg, a principal architect with Nichols Melburg & Rosetto, who was named 2016’s Businessperson of the Year by the Redding Chamber of Commerce.
The Redding-based firm, which is celebrating its 50th year in business, is responsible for the design of several prominent buildings in the region, including Redding City Hall, the Shasta County Administration Center, the Teen Center in Anderson, Shasta Lake Law Enforcement Center and Council Chambers, main branch of the Redding Post Office on Churn Creek Road, Tehama County Administration Center, Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, and Dana Park Veterinary Hospital in Redding.
In addition to serving on the LMMF board, Melburg is active with the Shasta Builders Exchange, the Redding Library Commission, the Lassen Park Foundation and Redding Colt 45s.
